Now I walk under a pink sky, lovers float along and pass me by

Jacket - PopCouture // Shirt - Primark // Skirt - Bliss Clothing

I've been so absent from blogging these past few weeks, it's making me sad! I'm just trying to finish all my work now so I can just get out of college, start my summer and blog till I can't blog no more!

I got this crop top from Primark and I absolutely love it. It was only £4 and fits perfectly. I love the length of it - cropped but long enough for me to tuck into a skirt. But I think I'm only going to buy crop tops with long sleeves on them from now on though because I never wear these no-sleeved tops without putting a massive coat on top. I don't know where to get long sleeved crop tops from though, so if you know where I could get some cheap ones, do tell!

This beautiful shiny (pleather?) skirt is from Bliss Clothing. I always loved leather look skirts but hated the way most of them crease and you can't even iron them, so when I got this one I was half expecting that to happen, but no! [I'm not sure if that's because this is a shiny skirt in comparison to a leather-look one, but this still looks like a leather skirt] This one doesn't crease at all, it's really great. The quality of it is amazing, I've been wearing it non-stop. It originally came with a belt, but I decided to take it off and fold over the top. I'm a big sucker for skater skirts and this one is definitely worth it - and it's only £7!
I really want to get another one and maybe D.I.Y it with studs?!

BTW I'm selling my American Apparel Circle Skirt on
eBay and it ends tomorrow - click here for the link -

Looking.Gd Launch Event

Outfit:
Jumper - Charity Shop/ Skirt - eBay/ Boots - Hand-Me-Down/ Jacket - Charity Shop/ Necklace - eBay
Last weekend I attended the Looking.Gd launch event with Vanese. The launch was to celebrate their website & app (that should be out very soon). The event was in a lovely place, everything was so minimalistic and the space wasn't too big, so it was a great way to get mingling. I met Georgina and Zoe - lovely girls! There was also a roof terrace up top which had a beautiful view of London. Me and Vanese also  assist(ed)(?!) Marina who took street style photos. It was really fun and quite an experience!

At the event we got told more information about Looking.Gd - For those who haven't heard of Looking.Gd, it's a new fashion and street style website where you can post outfit pictures. I've already posted an outfit to the website and I love how easy it all is to use!
It's really great for getting inspiration too. You can like each others looks and have a profile. I love the fact you can have your own cover photo. It's like your own personal style diary. I'm definitely going to be putting lots of looks on there. It was a good time, I'm really excited for the app!

I've got a head full of dreams driving me insane

How awesome is this weather?! I wish I lived in America and could go to the beach that would be 5 minutes away, boo! I had an outfit planned for today, but since the sun made an appearance I had a change of  mind and decided to wear this £2.50 crop top from Primark from the kids section aged 12-13. I thought it would be way too small, but crop tops are so tight, so there's no difference to a normal crop top in adult size. I wore it with this skirt that Vanese got from a charity shop last year (which she has now given to me, yay!) I love the colours and the design on it and it's like a midi length it will definitely make an appearance this summer. These shoes were my Grandma's and I just love the way they look. They have little triangle cut outs all around which makes them super awesome. And I got this beautiful Hamsa hand necklace from Primark - it's so nice. I've been wearing it with everything!
(I'm selling an American Apparel Circle skirt on eBay if anyone's interested - link here)

Hope you're all having a good day!

You have always worn your flaws upon your sleeve
and I have always buried them deep beneath the ground

Hello there lovely people, I wore this outfit to my mum's little house party shindig last weekend.
(Check out Vanese's adorable outfit here) The lovely people at Bliss Clothing were looking for bloggers to review some items and they kindly let me choose 3 items - this beautiful dress being one of them! I got it in this beautiful beige colour. I'm so freaking glad I got this colour, I always just go for the dark colours and never adventure out. I thought this wouldn't suit me, but when I tried it on, I well and truly fell in love. I love the gold plate, it makes the dress - I love that the plate feels like metal and not plastic. If this dress were sold in Topshop it would be about £30, so it shocked me to see that this dress is only £10 ... 10 FREAKING POUNDS! That is what you call a bargain, my friends. I paired this dress with my £5 shoes from Treds (Only size 8 is in stock) and with Vanese's Mac - Russian Red lipstick.  I still haven't made my mind up if the shoes and lipstick actually go with the dress!

Before I go I'd just like to say this.. I was quite scared to wear this dress (let alone putting up an outfit post on it!) I have dark underarms, stretch marks on my shoulders and (I think) big arms. I wasn't going to wear this dress because of these reasons, but I decided I'd "YOLO" it and wear it anyway. I feel like the biggest fool ever, even though the party was full of family and friends, I didn't feel so insecure. I walked around with my arms out and not one person cared. Of course things are different when you're around people you know and strangers, but even so - it gave the biggest confidence boost ever. If you know me then you've probably never seen my upper arms. I'm not exactly going to start running around with my arms out now, but I'm definitely going to stop shying around and wearing silly things when it's hot outside. In time hopefully I will have the confidence to. I don't know why I'm writing any of this but I thought it would be nice to share with you all my happiness that I've gained.

If you feel insecure about something and it's stopping you from doing things, don't be scared! Try it out because most of the time no one actually cares :)

FD Avenue Wishlist & 30% Off!

F.D Avenue Wishlist
FD Avenue literally have the most amazing stuff. They sell a lot of dupes of things found in American Apparel, Topshop etc.. which is amazing because everything so affordable so you're saving so much money. Here's a little wishlist of my favourite items!

1 - Chiffon Sleeve Tail back Shirt / £19 : This shirt reminds me of my PopCouture Jacket but with sheer sleeves instead! This shirt is very versatile, I could definitely see it being dressed up or down. The sheer sleeves are such a great touch and I just love black and grey together, such a great combination.

2 - Love Print Vest Top / £8.99 : I was drawn to this shirt because it reminds of something Hayley Williams would wear! I love that it's sleeveless and has a high neck (high neck's win every time) something nice to wear in summer with jeans - or layer up, maybe with a collar?

3 - Mint Chunky Fishnet Long Sleeve Crop Jumper / £14.99 : "Love at first sight" is probably the best way to describe my feelings as I scrolled and saw this. When I imagine a cropped jumper I imagine it to look like this. Many crop jumpers aren't very cropped but this, this looks perfect! And the way it comes in at the bottom. Such an amazing price compared to the Topshop Crop Jumper  you could buy two of these jumpers for the price of one Topshop Crop Jumper!

4 - Check Print Skater Dress / £18 : This dress reminds me of Shekinah's shirt! I love the cut off shoulders, it makes it that little bit more special. I'm loving monochrome and I'm also loving skater dresses, so this is like the perfect dress!

5 - Long Sleeve Turtle Polo Crop Top / £8.99 : I've taken a liking to crop tops recently, I love this one! I love that it has long sleeves, makes it more suitable to wear in different places and it's better for people (like me) who aren't comfortable with showing as much flesh as other crop tops! This would go lovely with a statement necklace and something high waisted! This shirt is £8.99 and American Apparel sell tops just like these for £25.00 ... that is all.

6 - Floral Love Print Crop Top / £8.99 : - And lastly this LOVE crop top! I was so shocked to see this shirt on their website because it's a dupe of the River Island one. I love the simpleness of this top and I love that the sleeves are rolled up. Such a nice top for spring/summer! ASOS/River Island sell this top for £15 whereas FD Avenue sell it for £8.99, not a massive chunky off, but still cheaper!

Hope you like the things I picked out, do tell me which one is your favourite?
Also, FDAvenue have given me a 30% discount code for you all to use - ALICIA30
Happy shopping :)

My Two Weeks In Pictures & Life Update. #2

Me & Vanese's "OMG IT'S FRIDAY" faces! // Reading Look & snacking // Editing // Playing with a fisheye app // New brushes // Jammin' to Peter & Kerry // Lovely Mocha // New shoes // Fun times with the fam

Filmception! // Grabbed the new Company Magazine // Lunch with Vanese and Dominic // Funny faces on the way too college // Drying our nails // Done! // Fairy Lights // Bit of face scrub action // New shoes & jeans!

The last two weeks have been quite cray cray. It's getting to the point where final pieces of coursework are being handed in, can't believe how quick the college year has gone, seems like September was only a few weeks ago! I'm pretty sure that I don't want to go to college next year and I'm definitely sure that I don't want to go to University either. I feel that there's too much pressure to go to uni. It's stupid to go to if I don't even know what it is that i'd want to study, then to waste all that money on something that's not making me happy? silly. I want to get some more experience in life and explore things, see what it is I'd actually want to take up as a career. I think right now getting a little job would be good for me. Easier said than done, but hey ho!

Goals for this week
1 - Get some work handed in - I keep forgetting that I could be out of college by the end of May
if I just hand in all my work. What is wrong with me?

 2- Smaller portions & healthier snacks! - Pretty self-explanatory.

3 - Relax, go for a jog - I've been getting really annoyed at the world recently and I need
to find my "escape" - if you get what I mean?

We’ve come too far to be turning back

I am so sorry for the depressing facial expression!
Jacket, Shirt - Charity Shop // Jeans - New Look via Ebay

Hi there, long time no post! I've had a week break from blogging because I was starting to get that "this is feeling more like a chore than a hobby" kinda feeling, so I thought having a mini break would do me some good. And boy did it, I've started watching Revenge, season 2. I am so hooked. I'm not even nearly finished but oh-my-goodness it's taking up all my time.

I bought these Acid Wash Jeans last year for £22 from New Look and returned them (I later regretted that!) and magically last week I found them and won them on  Ebay bid and only got them for £10. Horray for Ebay! I found it really difficult to pair anything with these jeans, but I came across this shirt.. and here we are today! I found this coat from a charity shop, it's a size bigger, but it looks really nice oversized! It's so comfy and I think it goes well with most outfits! BYE :)
